DESCRIPTION
Startup folklore has it that founders can make practically anything a success if they are only passionate enough. However, according to Christoph Rthke, after over 20 years of startups it's safe to say that some proposals are much more likely to fail than others.
In his talk, originally delivered at Philipps-Universitt Marburg earlier this year, Christoph will try & draw the line between stupid & smart startup ideas & how to improve chances you're not on the wrong end of the deal.

Christoph Rthke
In September 2019, he started his mission to educate Germany about why & how to become a Business Angel - based on the observation that less than 1% of wealthy Germans engage as startup investors. He is doing that with a podcast, blog, & events (follow the mission on www.angelofdeutschland.de)
His work as an Angel is based on many years of accelerating startups at Berlin Startup Academy, the boutique accelerator program he founded in 2012. In total, he has been a startup founder, investor, writer, speaker, & mentor for almost 20 years.
Recently, he started sharing the entrepreneurship methods he created on www.christophr.de. In the past few years, he has also been active working with leadership teams of large German & European corporations & impact startups, helping both to make use of digitalization to re-organize, scale, & thrive.
His first eBook, "Das Richtige grnden" (German only) was published in July 2016.
