Carolin Funk, Blue Bear Capital

.Dr. Carolin Funk is an Investment Director at Blue Bear Capital engaged in deal flow, diligence, & investing activities with a particular focus on blockchain, AI, & IoT solutions in the renewable energy, grid & mobility sectors. Carolin has spent her career supporting renewable energy technology programs across government agencies, large corporations, & early-stage ventures.Prior to joining Blue Bear, Carolin served as COO of Caban Systems & FreeWire Technologies. At FreeWire Carolin led product development, helped scale the team from 11 to 30 people, & supported a Series A fundraise bringing BP Ventures, Stanley Black & Decker, & Blue Bear Capital into the company. Before FreeWire, Carolin was Director of Venture Technology at Siemens. Carolin's focus areas at Siemens included smart grid, autonomous machines, big data, & AI. Carolin began here career in Germany, she holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering & an MBA from the Technical University of Berlin.

Joe Jasin, DNA PartnersJoe Jasin is Managing Director of DNA Partners, an early stage venture capital investment firm. DNA invests in digital media value chain technology companies based in the U.S. & China. Joe spends about 20 to 30 percent of his time in China. Joe has over 20 years of experience in a career that spans globally in the mobile/wireless & digital media industries, having establishing a robust cross border presence in the U.S. & throughout Asia.


Sanjit Singh Dang, U First Capital

Dr Sanjit Singh Dang has been a successful venture capitalist, corporate executive, board member, speaker & writer in Silicon Valley for almost two decades. He is currently the co-founder & chairman of U First Capital, which provides venture capital as a service to corporations by bringing startups, university intellectual property, etc in the corporation's specific areas of interest (dedicated model).

Prior to that, he was at Intel Capital where he led venture capital investments in enterprise software. Sanjit has an excellent track record of driving one exit every year, including: Orb Intelligence (acquired by Dun & Bradstreet in 2020), Pinterest (IPO 2019), DocuSign (IPO 2018), Body Labs (AI startup, acquired by Amazon in 2017 within two years of leading a series A investment), Voke (acquired by Intel in 2016 within seven months of leading a series A investment), Maginatics (acquired by EMC in 2015 within one year of leading the investment) & Basis Science (acquired by Intel in 2014 within one year of investment). He has been an iInvestor & on the board of several companies, including True Fit (AI for eCommerce,rRaised $100M), Reflektion (AI recommendation for eCommerce, raised $42M), Helpshift (AI-driven customer service, raised $38M) & Enlighted (Smart Lighting, acquired by Siemens in 2018). He is also an investor in Mirantis (Cloud Computing, raised >$100M), GoodData (SaaS Business Intelligence, raised over $100M) & Arcadia Data (Big Data 2.0, Raised $26M)
