AI is the buzz word of the year, & in this talk James will discuss how he has applied AI in automation by utilizing "smart bots" & "smart locators". He will walk through basic AI implementations & how they can assist you in your testing. Finally, he will explain how he is currently using AI to predict defects & how this has helped improve exploratory testing, reduce flaky tests, increase reliability of automation & reduce manual testing overhead.

James found his passion for testing while at University, where he enjoyed hunting down defects more than writing code. Since then he has climbed the corporate ladder from Test Engineer to Test Manager working with 23 teams implementing automation. Now he has founded his own startup Appsurify. He is currently traveling with his fianc as he learns more about the challenges teams face with testing & automation.
