Free to attend
Open to anyone interested in data visualization
We'll be serving snacks
Casual hanging out until 7:00PM
2 quick presentations (15-20 min each) at 7PM
Hangout after too.
Most people stick around until 8:00-8:30PM
Speakers:
Maddie Hall: Teaching data visualization topics to highschoolers/youth. She'll talk about a class she taught at the American Museum of Natural History, & her experience with learning data journalism in college.
Christian Stolte: Turning DNA data into art - & sending it to the moon.
