Product Council Events are broken into two acts:

Act I: For the first act, we introduce a product owner or manager who would like feedback from our Product Council about a specific product challenge. Our Product Council consists of three experienced product owners who serve as an anchor for the ensuing conversations.

This month's challenge presenter is Horti, a plant subscription service that provides members with all the tools, tips, & hardy plants urban dwellers need to thrive.

Act II: The second act introduces a second business whos product owner is given an opportunity to showcase a particular product or feature they feel their team has executed particularly well or solved in a unique way. In this scenario, the audience is provided with valuable product learnings through the experience of another product owner.

This month's solutions presenter is also our event parter, Asana. Asana is the work management service that empowers teams to track their work & produce great results.

FAQ

What is Product Council?
Its a place for designers, product owners, & entrepreneurs to explore strategic, creative, & critical thinking behind product design. We host events & bring together the best product brains in NYC.

How does it work?
At each meeting, a curated audience of product managers, makers, & founders gather to learn valuable lessons & insights from experienced product owners as they discuss challenges & solutions. We also provide drinks & food, because real critical thinking requires calories.

Why is it special?
We focus on real product challenges & how to solve them, not around features, services, or promotions. This is not a place for demos or pitches. Its a place to examine how to execute an idea.

Who should attend?
Product Council events focus on both the art & science of building products, so no matter what role or level of talent you provide to a company, you'll get an insiders perspective into how great products are created.

Who runs it?
It's hosted by Phil Thomas Di Giulio, product innovation manager at Oath & Staton Piercey, co-founder of Coalesce, a digital agency that builds products for businesses, brands, & brave souls with great ideas.
