EVENT DETAILS:Our panelists are all experts in Kubernetes & will first discuss topics concerning containerizing environments in general before breaking off into separate rooms for deep-dives into:Latest tech: Istio,Migrating CI/CD to K8s,Google Kubernetes Engine/ Google Cloud.Containers in production are taking application portability to a new level. While still relatively new to the DevOps toolbelt, companies differ widely on the extent of their adoption from none at all to fully containerized environments. Joe Schneider is a DevOps/SRE Engineer at DroneDeploy. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, he has discovered a passion for improving the developer experience through automation. He has managed clusters of machines companies ranging from multi-billion dollar giants to tiny startups, & in industries as diverse as Semiconductors, E-Commerce, & SaaS.
