Zola is seeking a talented & passionate Integration Software Developer to join our team. You will be a part of the core team that comes up with solutions to help the operational side of our business become more effective & grow. The work will require learning the complexities of our ecommerce system & infrastructure to plan & execute on business critical projects. You will need to apply your analytical thinking & technical expertise to develop integrations with third party systems into our platform in an efficient, scalable, & testable fashion. You will work closely across functions, including product, finance, operations, customer service, marketing, & of course, technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with third party API & libraries & integrate with the Zola infrastructure.
- Collaborate with tech & product to plan, implement & build business critical projects that help support Zolas operational business.
- Maintain & support integrated systems within the platform.
- Manage & contribute code to large scale projects from inception to completion.
- Provide technical feedback to other engineers through code reviews, design reviews & collaborative problem solving sessions.
- Demonstrate best practices for back-end development.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java or Scala.
- Experience with a relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Ability to work both individually & collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ecommerce experience is a plus.
