In order to achieve our mission to serve 1000s more students & accelerate our growth, we recently raised a $21M Series B round with top tier investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Social Capital, Harrison Metal, & Cowboy Ventures. Now, were looking to add a Recruiting Coordinator to the team.

As the Recruiting Coordinator, youll support & coordinate recruiting efforts across Guild & play the lead role on sourcing, selection & interview activities for core roles on our Enrollment Services, Student Services & Student Finance Center teams. This is a great opportunity to contribute directly to our mission by helping build the teams that interface with our students while also getting insight across the company as you learn, schedule & participate in diverse recruiting activities. You will help plan innovative & new approaches to sourcing, screening & onboarding new team members efficiently & with culture, diversity & high performance in mind. Youll be a critical member of the team, as a partner to internal team members & candidates alike, helping others navigate the process with an exceptional experience for all as the north star.

A day in our open, collaborative workspace might look like:

  • Scheduling, coordination, communication & hosting candidates for interviews - you might interact with >100 new people every week!
  • Meeting with members of the People Ops team or hiring teams to discuss the status of candidate pipelines
  • Interviewing candidates for assigned roles
  • Coordinating a cross-functional hiring event - at Guild or out in the community
  • Digging into one of our talent systems - Greenhouse, LinkedIn or others we might engage as we seek to broaden our talent pools

In this role, youll grow & expand your expertise by:

  • Playing a critical role in the development of several of our fastest growing teams
  • Learning the ins & outs of various Guild teams as you support their hiring efforts - youll get a glimpse into their goals, operations & priorities
  • Taking new & innovative approaches - together well experiment & explore how we can differentiate Guild in the market as we attract talent & expand our team
  • Honing your sourcing, interviewing & project management skills - this role will enable you to stretch beyond the status quo of a traditional recruiting role
