Duties:

Work with multiple parties to deploy/patch/upgrade corporate applications or services for the internal use, as well as feedback issues to relevant support team to improve the user experience & product performance. Keep firmware/software/images up-to-date. Maintain & monitor MDF to ensure the facilities/devices are error free. Responsible for server deployment & IPMI/OS configuration. Maintain servers, including system health check, HDD status check, RAM & HDD expansion. Perform RAID configuration, IPMI setup & OS installation on servers & research OS & hardware compatibility against server brands. Deploy virtual OS such as Hyper-V & VirtualBox. Perform IT storage & assets management. Work with asset admin to keep the asset management system up to date.*This position qualifies for Baidus Employee Referral Program.*

Education Required:

Bachelors degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering

Experience Required:

One (1) year of experience in network or telecommunications engineering

Special Skills Required:

Must have experience in each of the following:

1.      Maintaining servers, including system health check, HDD status check, RAM & HDD expansion;

2.      Performing RAID configuration, IPMI setup & OS installation on servers & researching OS & hardware compatibility against server brands; and

3.      Deploying virtual OS such as Hyper-V & VirtualBox.
