Your Role & Impact

HYPR, The Passwordless Company is seeking a Senior Android Engineer who will make a huge impact & join an amazing team! It is not a requirement to know both Android & iOS, however, there will be the opportunity to cross-train on iOS.

Responsibilities

• Experience using & creating third-party libraries.
• Experience with HTTP & REST APIs.
• Ability to troubleshoot & identify the root cause of issues under time pressure.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges & solutions.
• Experience using source control tools such as git.
• Experience working in a team based environment & with project management tools such as JIRA & Confluence.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with strong verbal / written English skills.
• Knowledge of Cryptography & Authentication Protocols such as FIDO are a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong experience using Java & Kotlin.
• Solid CS fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving, & complexity analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture patterns & development.
