Who you are: 
We are looking for a mid-level copywriter to join our US Brand Creative team based in NYC. The Brand Creative team at Klarna is responsible for developing, evolving, & building Klarna's brand. Ultimately, we are continuing to build a brand we are proud of & that people talk about. We are looking for a writer that understands brand marketing & can flex between supporting larger campaigns, all the way down to mid to low funnel work that is more educational in nature.  We work closely with leadership, global creative, marketing, social & comms teams to create compelling work that maintains our brand consistency across our many channels. The person who will be successful in this role is a team player with low ego, willing to roll up their sleeves & seriously consider the consumer experience of Klarna on projects both large & small. 

What you will do: 
You'll play an important role in developing concepts & executing ideas for marketing campaigns & activations. You'll also create content for our owned channels such as the Klarna social channels, website, press, etc. You'll write copy for in-store activations, OOH,  events, partnerships & campaigns. We constantly test & measure our campaigns in order to get the most of them. That's why your creative skills must be on par with your ambition to measure, follow-up, iterate or maybe even start over. You will work closely with the Brand Creative NYC lead, PM, strategist, creative director, designers & AD. You will need to work cross functionally & be able to work closely with social, comms, designers & various other marketers. You must be able to balance multiple projects at a time & be comfortable collaborating & reacting to team feedback with thoughtful creative solutions. You will be responsible for creating work that delivers on the strategic initiative of the brief & further supports the quality & standards of our brand.
