The Payment Operations Supervisor will oversee a range of activities to include reconciliation & settlement functions for individual & cumulative patron accounts, IRS reporting, receipt / disbursement of patron funds, collections, fraud & AML prevention, & completion of periodic reports. Incumbent is responsible for managing ACH, credit/debit card, wire transfers, & vendor deposit / withdrawal functions. Individual must be capable of functioning independently, supervising a small team, & working with other managers & staff.  This position is expected to alternate weekend coverage with the other employees of the department.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Manage patron financial account management services & process
  • Reconcile & settle individual & aggregate customer accounts related to ACH, credit/debit card, & other payment/withdrawal methods
  • Manage IRS reporting functions
  • Develop & analyze reports that assist decision makers to improve our business
  • Obtain reports from banking institutions to reconcile accounts
  • Research subscriber account inquiries & exceptions
  • Supervise customer finance team & manage escalated customer inquiries
  • Oversee review & reporting on potential fraud & AML activities
  • Perform all other related & compatible duties as assigned & assist in ad hoc projects

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 3 years' of experience in an accounting or finance focus capacity preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel & finance software required
  • In-depth knowledge of banking systems, online payments, & reconciliation/settlement functions
  • Understanding of Anti-Money Laundering detection methods & regulations
  • Experience with Fraud prevention, detection & investigation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) including a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel Functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
  • Experience in the banking & payments industry
  • Understanding of online betting or casino industry preferred
  • Some knowledge of Fraud & Money Laundering detection methods & regulations preferred
  • Licensure: Must pass required licensing as mandated by various state racing & casino regulatory bodies Failure to be licensed or retain licensure will result in termination of employment
