BAIDU USA in Silicon Valley is looking to hire a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for the full cycle of AP, AR, GL, & other accounting/ FP&A functionalities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing high volume & full cycle AP/AR
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records & files
• Reconciles AP/AR accounts, Corporate credit card accounts & bank statements
• Prepare payments by accruing expense & request disbursements
• Process expense reimbursement, including verification that reimbursable expenses are within company guidelines.
• Supporting the monthly, quarterly, annual accounting close process
• Assist Finance manager with FP&A issues & projects.
• Familiar with Corporate federal/state income tax filing & sales tax filing.
• Analyze financial information & report on financial results (trends & performance)
• Develops & implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures, recommending changes.
• Preforms other duties & special projects as requested by management
• Assist with tax projects as needed.

Qualification:

• BS/BA in Finance/Accounting or equivalent major.
• Minimum two years working expense in accounting/finance/tax
• One year crop tax preparation background is highly desired.
• Responsible, detail oriented & able to work quickly with a sense of urgency
• Strong analytical skills, with the proven ability to analyze process & suggest/implement environment.
• Computer literate & proficient in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Ability to multi-task under minimal supervision.
• Mandarin speaker is a plus.
