We are independently owned, founded in 2009 with offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Sydney & Mexico City. And were not too bad at what we do, with our work winning in Cannes Lions, the Clios, D&AD & The Webbies to name a few. 

Here in London we have huge ambitions. Weve doubled in size over the last year & broadened both our client list & the kind of work were doing for them. A lot of our work in-house (with our own production, edit & motion teams) because execution is key to effectiveness. We believe 100% that brands can be built on digital platforms & part of our model is built bottom up, flipping the traditional advertising model & process on its head. We dont play to agency/industry norms & our culture & energy reflects that.

We have an incredible client list across UK, EMEA & Globally. Our ideas live & breathe in organic & paid social but also fully integrated campaigns including TVCs, radio, press, OOH (you name it were there). Our difference? The task at hand:

We are currently looking for an interim Project Management Lead to help run the London agency for 3-6 months  whilst we search for a new permanent candidate, working alongside our EMEA Operations Director & managing our brilliant team of Project Managers. There is potential for this to be a temp-perm role. 

Candidates need to have social/ digital experience, thrive in an open & fast moving, collaborative culture, & be a kind & empathetic leader.   

Who are you?

A Project Director or Head of Project Management. Highly organized, highly motivated, goal- & detail-oriented self starter who is passionate & experienced in all aspects of agency project management. You understand & can advise on how to develop & implement appropriate portfolio processes & operations. Your experience is inclusive of, but not limited to organic & paid social campaigns (including TikTok), digital experiences & live streaming, integrated campaigns, client onboarding, pitches & other complex projects.  Scoping teams, managing timings & working with resourcing managers & heads of department are core requirements of the role.  

You are someone who is all about flexibility, commericiality & creative problem solving. You are a strong leader capable of building relationships, communicating ideas, & providing thoughtful, clear, actionable direction to team members & clients. You are able to partner closely with department & business leads to manage a portfolio of brands, as well as manage, grow, & lead the team of Project Managers assigned to those brands. You are passionate about creativity & your processes support the delivery of high quality work.



Portfolio Management

  • Serve as senior lead on large-scale portfolios of businesses, partnering with  Client Partnership VPs, Group Creative Directors, & other department leads (Strategy, Production, Tech, Media) regularly on business priorities & portfolio-specific processes.

  • Work with Client Partnership & Finance leads to define & monitor overall portfolio approaches, deliverables, staffing plans & agency fees.

  • Understand each client engagement, including business objectives & priorities.

  • Serve as a key lead on all aspects of project & retainer financials within a portfolio - ensuring proper processes, tracking methods & escalations are being adhered to

  • Ensure the delivery of best in class creative output across all campaigns.

  • Partner with department leads in retainer scopes, procurement requirements, & larger business planning with clients

Project Management

  • Provide strategic program planning & oversight on a variety of marketing & advertising work, including our proprietary models (Strategic Organic Content & the Vayner Volume Model) as well as our ongoing retained work 

  • Review budgets, project plans, & SOWs with an understanding of best practices, potential third-party capabilities, time requirements, & broader portfolio business objectives

  • Work with PMs, resourcing & department leads to assemble the best integrated teams for each assignment.

  • Manage Workfront & the PM teams utilization of it

Team Management

  • Mentor & train Project Managers to ensure optimal team dynamics & individual career growth

  • Provide a pivotal communication, escalation, & negotiation point to the team.

  • Support PM department head in developing, vetting & implementing process & training initiatives for department staff

Process Management

  • Responsible for the operation, customization & improvement of team processes necessary for each portfolios business needs

  • Work with other senior department leads to maximize operational efficiencies & define processes on the team, project & portfolio levels

  • Nurture cross-functional agency relationships & be the ultimate problem solver to deliver work to Clients 

  • Confident seeing work through to production & advising on/ scoping production partners. 

New Client Planning

  • Lead client discovery & scoping with business lead

  • Develop budget, staff plan, & related contracts

  • Align key internal & client stakeholders on onboarding process & key ways of working

  • Provide significant support to PM during first 100 days of client engagement

Desirable skills & experience:

  • 10+ years experience, including direct experience within an agency environment in a project management capacity

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fields, or entrepreneurial street cred

  • Experience with digital & social projects & deliverables ranging from 10K to 2M+

  • Strong ability to partner across departments, including Client Service, Strategy, Creative, Production, Media, Tech, Ecomm, etc.  

  • A cool, calm & collected approach to problem solving

  • Understanding of, & experience executing, projects that adhere to platform guidelines, legal considerations, advertising regulations & social/digital best practices

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently, & as a part of a team

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Demonstrated experience in & passion for team leadership, mentorship, & development of junior talent
