The Role: 

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be a key teammate responsible for helping make effective, analytically driven decisions for our Marketing  team to effectively generate product engagement & top of the funnel interest in Newsela. Collaborating with other data team members & marketing managers, you will develop an intimate knowledge of our databases & work with our data warehousing & Looker developers to design the best tables to achieve the best visual outcomes. Youll architect insightful, visually concise dashboards & reporting to drive the most informed, effective decisions for our marketing strategy.

You have 2+ years helping to solve complex data problems using reporting tools & SQL. You have a good understanding of industry standard Marketing KPIs & B2B marketing strategy. Your SQL skills have helped you take data & synthesize it effortlessly for effective, clear reporting. You understand how to pull the right data to make decisions, & can effectively gather requirements & address communication gaps between teams to build successful analysis & reporting. In addition to your technical skills, your excellent visual acumen enables you to thoughtfully design easily digestible dashboards & reports for a wide range of audiences.
