Twilio is looking for Manager, Sales Compensation Operations to join our Sales Operations team. This is a great role for an experienced compensation professional looking to further develop their career in a fast paced, high growth company.

You are right for this role if you excel at juggling multiple priorities, attentive to details, have strong communication & problem solving skills & enjoy leading direct & virtual teams. Expert level Excel proficiency & strong analytical skills will be crucial to your success.
You are a results-oriented individual who is motivated to tackle complex problems, has a "can do" attitude, & is comfortable asking questions.


  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Compensation role in Software / Technology industry, 2+ years of team leadership experience
  • Expert Microsoft Excel user with strong analytical skills
  • Experience with Xactly or similar sales compensation platforms
  • Solid project, program & people management skills
  • Process oriented: capable of developing compensation programs, policies & processes
  • Ability to define, aggregate, & analyze metrics to assess performance drivers
  • Demonstrated proficiency in structuring complex problems, developing solutions, & crafting recommendations into easily digestible messages, communications, & executive presentations
  • Strong interpersonal & communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Bachelors Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fast growing Software company
  • Experience with & Google docs
  • Experience supporting Sales organizations around the Globe


You will be a part of Sales Compensation team responsible for design, administration, & analytics of commissions for multiple global sales functions. In this role you will be responsible for building & leading a team of Sales Compensation professionals to administer sales compensation, validate data, prepare commission statements, research exceptions, & delivering sales enablement & training. You will collaborate closely with Finance on estimating commissions expense & business partnering with the Sales Org to address & resolve commission questions, working both as an advocate for the Sales team, as well as a good custodian of the business. You will analyze sales performance results to derive insights & present recommendations to company leadership. You will contribute to the development & improvement of systems to effectively track & capture compensation data & recommend & implement process improvements.
