Sideways is a creative agency specializing in hospitality and lifestyle branding, advertising and social media. We are looking for a savvy Digital Media Intern who is driven, passionate and eager to dive into new learning experiences. Your enthusiasm should extend into your daily tasks, but also play a key role in offering ideas and strategies that align with our client's goals. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, knowledge of how digital media works and creative problem-solving skills.
About the role:
Fluency with how online marketing works on social platforms including but not limited to Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIN
Work with tools and platforms to monitor campaigns and generate reports
Work closely with the strategy team to generate reports and analysis of online trends and support for optimization
Help with media planning, budgeting and evaluation of existing initiatives
Work on special projects and other duties as assigned
Must be detail oriented and be able to grasp concepts quickly
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Fluency in digital marketing and analytics
Strong in math and analytical skills - must be comfortable working with data
Obsessed with spotting trending content and ingenious online marketing campaigns in the digital space
Desire to learn and implement best practices for hospitality brands.
Ability to work side-by-side with Social Media, Strategy and Creative departments
Full comprehension of Google Drive and Microsoft Office
Basic HTML/CSS skills are a plus!
Must be pursuing a college degree or a recent graduate and available to work Monday - Friday (at least 20 - 30 hrs) in our Midtown Manhattan office
