Rituals mission is to digitize local commerce. We are an online marketplace connecting consumers to their local merchants to make the purchasing of goods & services more efficient. Ritual was founded in 2014 in Toronto by a group of serial entrepreneurs & ex-Googlers with the vision of bringing digital efficiency to the local commerce space. About the Team

We are a small but mighty team of multitaskers who are passionate about people & ALWAYS on the go. We keep everyone on schedule, on task, and full of snacks. We work behind the scenes & front-row center; youll find us around the office coordinating interviews, setting up for our weekly Throwdowns, & checking in with everyone, just to say hello! Our main goals are building out our expanding teams with great people & setting up our current ones for success. About the Role

As a member of the People Operations team, you will report into the Payroll & Benefits Specialist & also work closely with our Finance team. You will support the team & help define what a best in class experience should look like for Ritual as we become a global company. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to expand their payroll & benefits knowledge, & to support a growing team around the world.

Our ideal candidate is an energetic, eager to learn individual who is excited to take on the challenge of helping us to rapidly grow Ritual. The Payroll & Benefits Administrator will be expected to contribute in the following ways:

  • Set up, terminate & update employee information as required
  • Assist with processing semi-monthly payroll for Canada/US
  • Coordinate incoming payroll data for international markets on a monthly basis
  • Process bonus & off cycle payment as required
  • Assist with year-end tasks for all markets
  • Provide support to the finance team on various duties as required
  • Coordinates timely & accurate enrolment & updates in benefit plans
  • Other duties as assigned

  • High level of skill with Excel/G-Suite

  • Post-secondary education with a focus on Accounting/Payroll
  • Exceptional time management & organizational skills
  • Ability to function autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • High sense of urgency
  • Proven organizational skills with high attention to detail & the ability to prioritize
