The Reporting & Data Analyst serves as the primary reporting specialist responsible for creating tools & reports that are used to deliver insights to clients & internal teams at scale. Qualified candidates are able to prepare & analyze large data sets, design visuals that tell a compelling story & automate processes. For analysts to succeed in this position they must be resourceful, autonomous & great at multitasking.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, create & maintain automated, templated visualizations for internal & client-facing reporting deliverables
  • Analyze & visualize large data sets to extract insights for both internal use & client facing collateral
  • Effectively communicate & summarize findings with broader internal audiences
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop efficient processes for reporting & data analysis
  • Use Natural Language Processing techniques to build tools around text-based analysis of analysis of data sets & deliver insights for researchers
  • Use other Machine Learning techniques to design classification & predictive models to unearth insights & trends in Organic Search data
  • Time management & completion of collaborative & individual sprint workload

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Must be proficient in Python, Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker) & Microsoft Excel
  • Must be proficient with SQL & relational databases
  • Intermediate skills with Data Science techniques (NLP, ML, etc.)
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills, organization & time management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or on a team
  • Able to manage ones schedule & prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility to wear many hats & adapt to a fast-changing environment
