Team & Function Overview:

General Assembly (GA)s Enterprise (B2B) sales team has established a new Enterprise Sales Associate role tasked with assisting our rapid expansion through new customer acquisition. This role will support our Account Directors in managing GAs largest enterprise deals from initial contact to deal delivery. With GAs recent acquisition, B2B sales are a top priority for GA, & the members of this team will be significant players in driving the success of GAs Enterprise team. All Sales Associates will be a part of our Enterprise Sales Training program with the goal of moving Sales Associates into Account Director roles.

Responsibilities:

New Business Development

  • Leverage our extensive executive network to facilitate warm introductions to potential customers through email & social media in order to initiate & qualify sales opportunities
  • Research, identify & contact potential GA customers & maintain active intelligence that will help GA break into new business
  • Assist in the development & ever evolving team prospecting strategy
  • Partner with Account Directors to maintain active contact maps at our key relationships, thereby building a warm pipeline of new business
  • Develop, organise, & maintain productive units of content - whitepapers, case studies, etc. - to enhance communications with GA contacts
  • Organise small events - dinners, panels, conference participation, etc. - to increase GAs visibility in the market

Sales Support

  • Liaise between top of funnel prospects & GA account directors by both facilitating calls or meetings, & strategically partnering with account directors on target clients
  • Support tenured ADs to close large enterprise deals & help navigate through complex sales through call prep, deck creation & targeted follow up

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of a proven track record of achieving quotas in a sales environment
  • Experience prospecting through email, cold calls & social media
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly build rapport both internally & externally
  • Ability to seek, structure, & synthesize large amounts of qualitative & quantitative information to solve problems
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred
