Gathers product requirements specific to our ability to win ThreatStream & Anomali Enterprise opportunities in assigned region, which includes setting up & managing technical advisory boards & close coordination & interaction with Product Management (PM) during roadmap planning
Responsible for developing strategic or major customers as references & working closely with the Customer Reference Marketing Manager
Drives customer adoption of new releases & technology through Early Access & Beta programs
Supports large deals that require PM input where highly competitive or unusual scenarios exist
Handles objections & clarification statements on all issues relating to product roadmap
Acts as nominated speaker for all roadmap related engagements
Manages all components of FPM Program throughout geographic area of responsibility & acts as part of extended PM global team

Provides fly-to-site assistance on customer escalations to quickly resolve customer satisfaction issues
May own or participate in key business initiatives, often requiring authoring of business plan or single/multiple initiative project management

Achieves metrics as defined by the Product Management priorities & related execution goals

The role of the Field Product Management (FPM) involves a mixture of many skills, from reference conversion, running technical advisory boards, or fly-to-site or remote customer escalation management. The External Product Manager will have 6-8 years demonstrated experience with enterprise security products including but not limited to; Security Information Event Management (SIEM), Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), email security, web security, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), etc. Work efforts will focus around addressing both business & technical requirements on or off customer site. Previous work experiences as a Field/Regional/External Product Manager, Sales Engineer or Consultant, especially with implementing technical consulting engagements, solution design, & business process assessments, will help the successful candidate execute project & program requirements.

Field Product Manager
Should be certified in (or willing to obtain certification in the first six months) at least one industry recognized security certification (CISSP, CISA, SANS, MCSE, RHCE, CCIE).
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area or demonstration of equivalent knowledge
Knowledge of the Information Security Technologies is highly regarded, especially within the next generation SIEM, Firewalls, EDR, & threat intelligence subscribers
Travel may be required up to 50% at customer & employer discretion
Some International travel will be required
