While this position is based in New York City, office colocation will be contingent on stay-at-home orders; until then, all employees are working remotely.

Reporting into the VP of Growth, the Lifecycle Marketing Manager will play a key role in shaping our engagement and retention strategies for our B2C franchises throughout the customer lifecycle, from onboarding new audiences to engaging and cross-selling loyal readers.
Here's what you'll be working on:
Define, own, and execute all lifecycle marketing strategies for Morning Brew daily newsletter and other B2C franchises
Take ownership of all KPIs for your programs and high level B2C retention, and communicate results to stakeholders and management team
Understand and iterate on Morning Brew user journey across our owned platforms, ideating on how we deepen our relationship with our audience to both increase overall engagement and retention
Collaborate with editorial and product teams to create and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns that drive retention and engagement across platforms and channels.
Work closely with our Analytics and Insights team to generate deep insights about our audience at each stage in their relationship with us, inventing new ways to engage our customers to content
Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns for new products and tentpole content packages.
Own the end to end experience for our referral program
Continuously conduct A/B tests and analyze results to develop insights that improve acquisition, retention, and audience engagement
What makes you qualified?
3-5 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention or growth marketing. Prior experience in the media industry is a plus.
Experience building lifecycle marketing programs through CRM and/or marketing automation system
Experience using data to develop and measure marketing programs. Knowledge of or desire to learn SQL is a plus
You enjoy working on both the analytical and creative sides of marketing. Concepting content for lifecycle emails and finding nuggets of data in a spreadsheet to help optimize a campaign are both things you like to do.
