A Data Analyst for our Merchandising Team who will assume responsibility for site analytics related to our Brands & Merchandising initiatives (including sales, brand metrics, brand cadence, category insights, conversion, & other initiatives). The Data Analyst will translate this data into specific, actionable insights & strategies that will enable us to optimize sales, profits, efficiencies, & customer engagement.
This position reports to the VP of Brand Management & Merchandising, & requires a strong combination of exceptional analytical abilities, strategic thinking, common sense business acumen, excellent communications & leadership skills, & outstanding collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams.
What youll Do:
- Partner with merchants to optimize sales & customer engagement through the following:
- Optimal brand assortment targets by merchandise classification, brand type, & size
- Monitor brand & franchise cadence on our site. Implement guidelines to balance sales maximization with appropriate exposure
- Analyze visitation & conversion by brand & recommend appropriate actions
- Identify trends, risks, & opportunities. Recommend specific strategies & actions that will enable us to optimize sales & customer engagement.
- Collaborate with our Merchandising team to execute & analyze overall site performance based on brand performance & content
- Maximize our brands efficiencies via trend analysis & target implementation, including:
- Identify trends, risks, & opportunities. Recommend specific strategies & actions that will enable us to optimize sales & customer engagement.

This is a brand-new position, so you will have a great opportunity to help shape the scope & influence of the role!
In addition, the SPO Merchandising Team interacts daily with many key departments, so you will have consistent exposure to all aspects of the SPO business & will work directly with many of our awesome teams, including Merchandising, Marketing, Product & Businesses Development, & will have exposure to Senior Management team as well.

- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ Years Related Experience in a Retail, E-Commerce, or Data Analytics environment. Exposure to Fashion & Merchandising preferred.
- Proven Analytics & Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate data & analysis into specific set of conclusions & strategies.
- Prior experience with Adobe Analytic platform
- Excellent Communication & Leadership Skills
- Confident & persuasive presentation skills.
- Outstanding Collaboration / Teamwork Skills
- Self starter who is highly organized & detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks & manage multiple projects in a high-energy, fast-paced & dynamic environment.
