Position Description

We are looking for a proactive, driven, personable & analytically-minded individual to grow & support our key strategic customer relationships on our team in New York City. The ideal candidate has experience in client or professional services, a strong understanding of US healthcare landscape, & is comfortable in a fast-moving environment. Your goals will include leading the business development activities & driving growth within major clients. You will be responsible for prospecting, developing key strategic relationships, mentoring a team, advancing our sales infrastructure, & driving expansion opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to have an impactful role as a leader in a fast-growing mission-driven organization.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing & growing relationships with key partners & customers
  • Understanding & addressing customer needs over time
  • Preparing commercial proposals for potential & current customers
  • Defining & measuring success metrics
  • Establishing partnership opportunities with existing customers
  • Analyzing & interpreting data to demonstrate ROI & customer benefits
  • Anticipating & interpreting macro & policy level changes, communicating impact on key accounts

Desired skills & experience:

  • Analytical & data driven problem solver
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, client services, account management or strategy
  • Personable, engaging communicator, both oral & written
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape, policy, & macro trends
  • Understanding of business principles including forecasting
  • Adept at using Salesforce, Microsoft Office including Excel & PowerPoint
  • Sales experience required


  • Up to 25% travel to partner & client sites & conferences
  • Strategic partner recruitment including but not limited to institutes, associations, clinics, hospital systems, vendors, & consultants
  • Market research, presentation preparation, presentation delivery
  • Cross functional projects particularly working with post sale implementation
  • Recruitment support
  • Collateral, process, & training development
  • Willingness to improve, innovate, & test to help take RubiconMD to the next level
