Job Description

This is a 9 to 12 month internship, taking responsibility in three primary areas:

1. Prototype & develop tools to aid in creation of Nexthink content;

  • Assure the highest possible degree of quality & accuracy;
  • Refine, adapt & deliver the use cases;
  • Plan & coordinate the testing, from the unit tests to the system integration tests;
  • Analyse performance bottlenecks & stability issues;
  • Document the prototypes both internally (technical design) as well as externally (installation guide, implementation guide, user guide)

2. Prototype & develop tools to automate the management of our Azure lab environments;

  • Assist in delivering automated mechanisms for building, managing & monitoring the lab infrastructure;
  • Provide day to day support of our Azure lab based on requests from within the Nexthink Team;
  • Develop the Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD technologies within the lab environment

3. Assist with other product engineering projects & activities.

Qualifications
  • 0-3 years' experience in professional software development.
  • Highly skilled with languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript & SQL, with a deep understanding of good design practices in programming.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies in an unsupervised environment;
  • Ability to drive complex projects with minimal oversight, delivering & refining features iteratively.
  • Ability to collect user feedback & understand customer needs.
  • Experience delivering using agile/lean principles is a plus;
  • Working towards a BSc/MSc in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written).
