We are in exciting, high-growth times here at Eventbrite.  The Product Analytics team is central in driving growth in Eventbrite's core business by increasing the value we deliver to our customers. You will play a key role in identifying insights that can unlock future growth through new product development initiatives & advising stakeholders on how to optimize the impact of their activities. You will work closely with product managers & data scientists to identify collaborative approaches to driving growth. You will also play an important role in ensuring we have sufficient monitoring & reporting in place to understand the impact of new product releases & present these insights back to management.

The Product Analytics team is responsible for deriving insights that unlock new opportunities for growth & optimization of our product development efforts.  We are thought partners to the product managers & help shape the product roadmap. In addition, we collectively manage & maintain our product experimentation processes & tools; we design release experiments, measure the impact of our product development projects on our core objectives, & report out our conclusions to stakeholders.  We are a small team with a large remit & outsized impact on the company's results.

You'll serve as an advocate & promoter of our data-driven culture, collaborating closely with Data Science, Product, & Engineering to help them use insights that will direct their efforts towards initiatives with the largest impact.  You'll quantify user activity on the site so future product changes are prioritized appropriately & the user experience is optimally improved. We're looking for someone who will provide guidance on new methodologies & analytical approaches & synthesize analysis & results into compelling storylines that they communicate directly to key stakeholders throughout Eventbrite.  

You can expect to partner closely with the product mangers to identify gaps in our product offering by conducting comprehensive data analysis. You'll define data to be collected for measuring success of new product features, & work with engineering on proper tracking & instrumentation of data. You'll conquer query optimization problems on large data sets. You will also design & build self-service dashboards using a mixture of analytical & visualization techniques (e.g., Tableau) to derive actionable insight from data.
You'll investigate anomalies & new data in ad hoc projects with SQL, Presto, Hive, & Excel, & work closely with the product team to properly design & conduct A/B tests for experimental product features. You'll also work with Sales & Customer Support to quantify user feedback.
