Your opportunity:

We are looking for a high-calibre Head of Finance to build our finance function & oversee our P&L, budgeting, financial planning & controlling activities for the French market. As Head of Finance,  you will need to build your team & develop talents in a growing team of FP&A, accounting experts & financial business partners across our operations. Reporting to our France Managing Director, you will need to demonstrate the ability to drive initiatives & results in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a sharp & experienced leader that can build a strong team, be hands on & steer our P&L. 

What you will be doing:

• Own our P&L, Balance sheet & Cash flow statement for HelloFresh France; you will lead our business planning & budgeting cycles. 
• Build a very strong understanding of our  business model, regularly doing deep-dives to identify & action key opportunities to improve both our revenue & cost performance.  
• Build & lead a high performing team of accounting & FP&A professionals, developing strong cross-functional collaboration with financial business partners (e.g. production, logistics)
• Lead our month end close variance analysis, feeding in learnings to our next budget cycles & uncovering meaningful opportunities to improve business performance
• Steer & ensure operational excellence across our budget cycles, month ends, accounts payable & accounting processes
• Steer the financing of large strategic investments (e.g. logistics hub, production unit)
• Manage the relationships with external partners across financial topics (e.g. bank, auditors & various administrations) 

What we are looking for :

• A sharp & highly numerate mindset combined with a winning personality 
• High calibre profile with minimum 6 years of experience in a finance related role / industry, in a fast-paced, high rigor or high intensity environment
• Highly driven with a strong academic background, ideally a Masters degree in accounting / finance or comparable (certified accountant is a plus, but not required)
• You are great with numbers, have excellent Excel skills & work in a highly logical way 
• Excellent analytical & presentation skills - you are data-driven & comfortable dealing with complex business challenges, breaking them in smaller pieces in a systematic & rigorous fashion
• A inspirational leader that is able to rally a team around common objectives, with a proven ability to lead & manage high performing teams
• A proactive problem-solver, with striking attention to detail & has a strong sense of ownership
• Autonomous, organised, proactive & adaptable
• Fluency in English & French - both written & spoken. You will be working with key stakeholders across geographies & nationalities.
