THE POSITION

The Product Vice President, Customer Tech is responsible for setting the product vision, strategy & roadmap across all the technology (Marketing Technology, Account, Payments, Fraud, Responsible Gaming, Sign up, Customer Service tools)  that supports our gaming verticals (Fantasy, Sportsbook, Casino & Racing).  The candidate  should be consumer-obsessed, always focusing on what will make our product experiences better & more fun, working closely with our research & analytics team to understand what our fans want, even before they know they want it.

THE GAME PLAN

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Create a comprehensive, customer-first product vision for our Customer Tech that:
    • Makes FanDuel apps the easiest-to-use in the industry by streamlining the process for our customers throughout key customer journeys such as sign-up, depositing money & withdrawing funds
    • Elegantly weaves Responsible Gaming through all of our Product Verticals
    • Sets the vision for our next generation Customer Tech offerings, & expands the flexibility of our platform
    • Provides best-in-class marketing & promotional capabilities by building new models & concepts to engage with our customers
  • Develop a 3 year plan to bring our products up to best-in-class rigor
  • Build an environment that fosters high quality, metrics-driven experimentation & leads to impactful improvements in the customer experience
  • Collaborate across Product, UX, engineering, design, research, marketing, compliance, regulatory & operational functions to ensure Customer Technology is driving growth across the organization
  • Lead a broad product team with a proven track record in recruiting and leading top talent; maintain & improve the team's knowledge & expertise
  • Instill a culture of domain expertise within the team on the product, market, & competitors

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate  

  • Proven senior leadership experience with a track record of delivering great products, as well as modernizing technology platforms
  • Comfortable applying qualitative & quantitative research methods along with rigorous A/B testing to arrive at strong hypotheses that will advance the business.
  • Experience developing product strategy, building compelling roadmaps & understanding how to rally teams behind & execute upon a thorough long-term plan
  • Adept at balancing a portfolio of bigger & smaller bets across multiple product teams.
  • Ideally, experience with financial services Know Your Client (KYC) vendors & payment providers (Paypal, Venmo, MasterCard/Amex/Visa, Plaid, etc.)
  • Minimum 12+ years experience in Product Management 
  • Minimum 8+ years experience managing a product team
  • Proven track record of building & scaling a world-class product team, identifying team members strengths & areas for development & coaching them successfully
  • You have a passion for sports, gaming & digital consumer experiences
  • Ability to collaborate with C-level executives & work cross-functionally within a wider leadership team
  • Bachelors degree required
