The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics is responsible for defining, building, & managing the analytics capability & reporting processes for Moda Operandis marketing organization. This role will work with a broad group of leaders to shape the future of analytics at Moda, & support the long-range top & bottom line goals of the business. This position is also responsible for setting the analytic agenda, designing best practices, & applying innovative techniques & tools to create a competitive advantage for Moda Operandi.

What You'll Do

  • Develop strategies to increase traffic across product categories & throughout global markets
    • Define spend by channel, develop traffic goals & critical milestones
  • Implement key initiatives for client acquisition & retention at all touch points
    • Develop client acquisition road-map & marketing performance KPIs
  • Viewed as valuable business partner by peer leaders & Board, imparting breakthrough insights & solutions
    • Provide thought leadership through analytical insights that drive business decisions & outcomes

  • Ensures the analytics capability builds best in class practices & standards & continues to innovate modeling approaches & technologies

  • Possesses excellent presentation & communication skills (verbal & written)

Essential Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading a team within a global ecommerce or omnichannel environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading quantitative teams & initiatives, with the primary goal of creating innovative solutions to business problems
  • 5+ years of experience building models on large data sets
  • Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau & Looker
  • Strong SQL skills, R or Python a plus

Industry Experience:

  • Luxury goods knowledge is required
  • Direct ecommerce/omnichannel experience, or experience from a top-tier consulting firm

Specific Skill Requirements:

  • Expert in all multivariate statistical techniques (e.g. regression, factor, cluster, etc.)
  • Expert in all model development & market information principles
  • Extensive knowledge & experience utilizing a broad range of analytic modeling tools & systemic solutions (marketing mix, forecasting techniques, price elasticity, test/control analysis, & working knowledge of multiple platforms & statistical software)

Educational Requirements:

  • Advanced quantitative degree, MBA, or other advanced graduate degree

Beneficial Skills & Experience

  • Experience driving life cycle programs, cohort-level conversion, spend by customer, & average order value
  • Experience in paid & organic search, comparison shopping engines, email & other online programs
  • Experience with digital analytics tools, platforms & infrastructure and/or network to acquire talent in this critical area
