The Role

The TripleLift Finance team is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant. In this role, you will apply your technical GAAP accounting skills to assist with the monthly close along with the preparation of the financial statements. You will own the day-to-day accounting activities of a fast-pace, ever-changing, ad tech company.You are analytical, a natural problem solver, & work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with of the month end close process, including:
    • Revenue & COGS recognition process
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Client billing & discrepancies
    • General ledger maintenance
  • Other areas of ownership:
    • Cash management including managing the A/R collection activities
    • Setting up & tracking new revenue streams & initiatives
    • Vendor payables including the 1099 process
    • Maintaining complex Excel schedules such as prepaids, fixed assets, & deferred revenue
    • Maintain documentation to identify for opportunities to automate & improve daily accounting processes

Education Requirement

  • A Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred
  • Knowledge of fundamental US GAAP
  • Proven ability to work with Excel. Including working experience using formulas such as SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, IF, OR, IFERROR, pivot tables
  • Major plus if you have experience with various system applications: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets, Intacct, Bill.com, Tallie, & Expensify

Experience Requirement

3+ years of full-time solid, progressive accounting experience
