REX Real Estate is a well-funded, disruptive real estate tech startup located in Woodland Hills, CA -- but very rapidly expanding into other markets across the US.  Were looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager in the real estate industry (hint-hint: YOU!) to leverage our platform, marketing efforts, & support team to attract sellers/buyers to help us establish & grow market share in the Phoenix area. Our BDM will also play a critical role in helping to further create the model for success as we continue our nationwide expansion.

What Youll Do:

  • Be an evangelist for REX in the Phoenix market, attend events either as a speaker or to proactively meet people, & spread the word about REX
  • Identify & pursue potential partnerships to accelerate home seller acquisition efforts
  • Augment REXs marketing & lead-gen efforts to attract leads in creative ways
  • Pitch REX to new seller leads & convert them to new REX sellers in person, via web conference & by phone
  • Work with the REX broker on an estimate of home valuation, compare with sellers desired price, & decide whether to accept or reject each opportunity
  • Obtain signed listing agreements
  • Work with a REX Agent who will have the homes' photos taken, set up their digital home profile, conduct showings & open houses, sell the home, & represent buyers through closing

What You Need:

  • 5+ years in sales with a track record of winning business, exceeding objectives, & delighting customers
  • Strong business acumen, professionalism, an entrepreneurial spirit, & the great gift of gab
  • Experience or interest in the startup space 
  • Intimate knowledge of the real estate market in various Phoenix communities
  • The ability to embrace new technologies & services
  • A bachelors degree in an applicable field
