What youll do

As DV continues to grow rapidly in size & complexity, DV is looking to expand & strengthen the in-house events team with the addition of an experienced Events Coordinator. This person will assist in DV's marketing & sales efforts by creating experiences that leave our customers feeling supported, educated & excited to engage with DV. This person will work closely with the Senior Global Events Manager & the wider global marketing team to plan & execute global events.

A successful person in this role will accomplish the following:

  • Fully own & deliver on all aspects of events from start to completion, including but not limited to: ideation, vendor management, budgets, registration, invitations, creative assets & deliverables, promotions, on-site execution, invoicing & post-event analysis
  • Marshall project timelines for events ensuring all trackers & calendars are up-to-date & deliverables are successfully met
  • Coordinate with senior-level executives to plan agendas & facilitate any required meetings, & work cross-functionally with Sales, Client Services, Creative, Finance, Legal, as well as external service providers
  • Work closely with PR/social media agencies to plan all social media content, monitor daily activity, respond to inquiries, & audit followers
  • Oversee & organize all logistics, deliveries & payments with our vendors & suppliers
  • Conceptualize creative ways to activate at events
  • Analyze post-event data to continue to improve our efforts & deliver on business-critical metrics
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in processes & procedures & recommend solutions
  • Gain experience supporting a global events team with execution in other regions
  • Manage time effectively & utilize organizational skills to maintain workflows & meet deadlines
  • Research & stay current with the latest trends & changes within the event & advertising industries

Who You Are:

  • 1+ years of experience in B2B events in a full-time role
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Experience with event & project management software
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, & Google Workspace
  • Experience in or a desire to learn B2B social media marketing
  • Strong understanding of event management essential
  • Organized with a rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence & a positive can-do approach
  • Self-starter who can demonstrate creative & critical thinking & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines & to ensure project goals are achieved on time
  • Passion for emerging technology and/or digital advertising a plus
  • Eagerness to learn & gain experience from a broader marketing organization a plus
  • Knowledge of social media for B2B a plus
  • Knowledge of project management a plus
