The Senior Art Director, Photography will be responsible for nurturing & enhancing creative ideas throughout the creative development process & through execution. The Senior Art Director, Photography will exhibit a strategic storytelling sensibility & deep understanding of the right creative/production talent required to execute the project at hand. They are entrusted with our client's brand & expected to push forward the way its expressed through photography.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead a team as a Photo Art Director & Retoucher.
  • Inspire, generate, & develop ideas that are strategically-informed, channel agnostic, & deeply integrated between all touch-points & product experiences. 
  • Consistently up-level the creative thinking of our organization by bringing impactful ideas to the table & creating work that is authentic out client's values.
  • Ensure that deliverables adhere to strategic brief, our client's vision & intention. 
  • Communicate with creative teammates & cross-functional partners to ensure that our client's creative work is of the highest quality & greatest consistency. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with a diverse mix of teams, balancing the needs of stakeholders & always seeking opportunities to elevate the work & craft.
  • Oversee & art direct photography shoots, as needed. 

Requirements

  • 10-15 years art & creative direction experience in an agency or in-house brand experience with global companies.
  • A strong understanding of how Photo Art Direction is used to tell a story on behalf of a brand & within a product.
  • An innovative & impactful portfolio of work that demonstrates ability to lead teams in creating communication campaigns that resonate culturally & influence business results.
  • Experience inspiring creative teams with a strong vision & empowering individuals to achieve their best work.
  • Exceptional communication & presentation skills can articulate & passionately defend decisions both internally & to clients. 
  • Outstanding collaboration skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally in order to establish & meet shared outcome-based goals

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience & markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but arent limited to, a candidates experience & skills relative to the scope & responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
