SoundHound is creating & productizing transformative technologies to change the way we interact with the world around us. Our voice AI platform, Houndify, is driving the growth of our business by enabling large-scale enterprise partners to add a custom branded voice assistant to their products. From automotive leaders like Mercedes, Honda, & Hyundai, to IoT & Telecom providers like Deutsche Telekom & Harman, to music streaming services like Pandora were working together to bring a voice-enabled product experience to life.

You will play a critical role working with existing partners & identifying new market opportunities. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development this is an exciting opportunity to join as an early member of a growing & collaborative team.

In this role you will:

  • Help manage a large pipeline of new & existing partners
  • Help identify, develop & close new business opportunities & strategic partnerships in a variety of verticals including Automotive, SmartHome & IoT, Retail, Financial Services, Telecom, & others
  • Engage closely with product management, marketing, & engineering teams
  • Understand & analyze industry trends & competitive landscape to provide data driven insights

We would love to hear from you if:

  • You have 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • You have experience in the following areas:
    • in-depth exposure to machine learning, voice AI, or cloud services space
    • engagement with customers in multiple verticals including: Automotive, Smarthome & IoT, Retail, Financial Services, Telecom
    • developing strategic sales plans
    • growing relationships based on trust & working with Senior Stakeholders & Executive teams
    • working with a broad set of partners, content providers, & customers to close business
  • You have experience working in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities & customer needs
  • You have a proven track record of selling complex solutions, ideally in the SaaS space, to large, multinational companies
  • You have demonstrated ability collaborating with multiple internal groups to provide proposals & satisfy requirements
  • You have a track record of increasing revenue through lead generation
  • You have excellent communication & presentation skills
  • You are bilingual or fluent in French, German, Italian or Spanish.
  • You are a self-starter, critical thinker, & problem solver
  • You have the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Some travel required;  estimated at 15%-20%

Wed be especially excited if you have a technical background or a masters degree in a related field of study.
