About This Position
Rockets of Awesome is looking for an Associate/Manager level growth marketer to manage multiple marketing channels (existing & new) including, but not limited to, paid social, SEM/SEO, display, retargeting, video, & affiliate. In this vital role, you will develop, execute & optimize customer acquisition campaigns that drive top line growth for ecommerce & subscription businesses. This role will oversee the day-to-day execution of campaign creation & testing execution to optimize traffic, conversion & profitability. Reports to the Senior Director of Marketing.
Marketing Planning & Execution: Day-to-day lead in developing & implementing digital customer acquisition plans, optimizing the efficiency of existing efforts, & testing new channels, creatives, & messaging strategies. Work with marketing leaders to collaboratively translate strategic vision into tactical solutions & results. Accountable for all projects being delivered on time & within budget
Multi-Channel Marketing Management: Subject matter expert & hands-on owner of all paid channels - paid social (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest), SEM (Google, Bing), display (GDN), retargeting (Criteo), SEO, & affiliate (Share-a-Sale). Manage marketing mix towards CPA, CAC, LTV & payback goals. Identify new trends in digital marketing for profitable & scalable growth.
Testing Agenda Development: Plan optimization & testing tactics to increase conversion & improve KPIs. Generate data-driven hypotheses for improving performance, execute A/B tests, & iterate on marketing campaigns. Brainstorm creative concepts, new areas of growth, & messaging strategy informed by consumer insights & analysis.
Marketing Asset Development: Collaborate closely with creative & brand teams to create marketing assets that drive results & build brand. Develop creative briefs & articulate constructive feedback.
KPI Reporting: Oversee marketing tracking, analytics & insights. Monitor performance across KPIs, interpret data, & create optimization plans to ensure programs scale efficiently. Deliver regular, clear, & actionable reports on marketing performance to business leaders & peers.
Process & Tech Improvement: Consistently look for ways to improve current processes or introduce new approaches. Assist in the evaluation, selection & on-boarding of marketing tools & partners. Help manage integration with third party platforms of the marketing tech stack & serve as the day-to-day marketing contact.
Day-to-day execution: of ROA retention & customer lifecycle campaigns, including briefing the Creative team, audience segmentation, coordinating coding, creating automated flows, tagging links, scheduling emails, setting up tests, quality assurance, & deployment.
4+ years experience in digital marketing/advertising within a D2C business or agency; ecommerce experience is a huge plus!
Exceptional knowledge of paid search, social, display & remarketing.
Experience working with attribution models & an understanding of how each channel informs the other.
Results-oriented with tenacity to get things done on time & on budget
Data-driven with strong understanding of KPI's for digital media & how they drive movement through the digital marketing funnel.
Excellent analytical skills. Strong Excel proficiency with a love for storytelling through data. Ability to manipulate raw data through advanced Excel formulas, pivots, & graphs.
Motivated self-starter who can work independently but also builds strong relationships & trust working across teams & integrating cross-functionally.
Organized, detail-oriented, & ability to translate concepts into actionable plans.
Scrappy startup mentality. Can take-action & propose new ideas & solutions before asked. Adapts easily to changing environments & demonstrates flexibility in shifting goals & priorities
Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000
