The ultimate source for official answers about a business online should be the business itself. However, when consumers ask questions on company websites, too often they are left in the dark with wrong answers. Yext (NYSE: YEXT), the Search Experience Cloud, solves this problem by organizing a business's facts so it can provide official answers to consumer questions wherever people search. Starting with the company website, then extending across search engines & voice assistants, businesses around the world, like Taco Bell, Marriott, & Jaguar Land Roveras well as organizations like the U.S. State Departmenttrust Yext to radically improve the search experience on their websites & across the entire search ecosystem.

As a Senior IT Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance & support of systems such as: JAMF, GSuite, OKTA, Zendesk & Microsoft Intune. You have architected entirely new JAMF & OKTA deployments & have executed these deployments for enterprise organizations. You understand the complexities of doing so & how Jamf, Okta & G-Suite compare to the alternatives. You will be an escalation point for Level 1 support staff, handling the complex requests that come through our ITSM system (Zendesk) on a regular basis. You are highly technical & are comfortable problem solving across a range of devices. You're a fast learner & great communicator who can support the technology needs of various groups within the organization. The ability to effectively document your work is critical to your success. 

What Youll Do 

  • Experience developing & maintaining scripts in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Powershell 
  • Administers & maintains existing device management frameworks (Jamf, Intune) & identity management solutions (OKTA, AD) 
  • Reviews & applies security patching best practices & performs proactive performance monitoring & tuning 
  • Manage entire lifecycle of systems (i.e. Apple Mac OS/iOS, Windows) 
  • Supports Gmail configuration & mailbox management including email routing, spam filtering (SPF/DMARC) & forensics 
  • Ability to work collaboratively & quickly shift focus in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 
  • Comprehensive knowledge & hands on experience with Windows OS, Mac OS, Active Directory, Google Administration, OktaJamf, AWS, MSFT Azure Intune, & other SaaS enterprise cloud-based services 
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, & guidance to the Level 1 support team as well as cross functional teams 

What You Have 

  • 5+ years experience as a Jamf Pro administrator 
  • 5 years or more using GSuite on an administrator level 
  • Experience with mapping APIs; Google, Okta, Zendesk, Zoom 
  • Experience integrating different SaaS systems to enhance the environment 
  • Experience building custom SSO integrations (SAML, OAUTH, WS-FED/WS-TRUST) in Okta 
  • Familiarity with all recent releases of macOS (Mojave, Catalina). (Features, patching, etc.) 
  • Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell,Bash) 
  • MacOS system (hardware) & application (software) installation & configuration experience required 
  • Prior experience managing a scaling infrastructure of internal Apple SUS 
  • First-hand experience with administration & architecture of Jamf Pro 
  • Demonstrated abilities to prioritize & manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced. environment to meet deadlines with efficiency & accuracy 
  • Strong problem solving, organization & project management skills, with a willingness & desire to take responsibility, accountability and ownershi 
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours to complete tasks, including occasional weekends/evenings 
  • Proactive & self-motivated in approach to work tasks 
  • Good written & verbal communications skills 
  • Experience with an ITSM system; Zendesk preferred 
  • Excellent ability to build supporting documentation (such as business and/or technical requirements, final design and/or support guides for automation, self-service, compliance, customization) 
  • DevOps Tools experience: GitHub, Jenkins, Stash
