Brief Summary of Role

Silverline is looking for a highly motivated, performance-driven individual to play a key role in driving the growth of Silverlines Managed Services offering, selling Salesforce.com services. A Client Services Account Executive (CSAE) will be responsible for leading the deal cycle from lead generation & prospecting through proposal generation & deal closure for Silverlines Healthcare & Life Sciences Client Services business. This role will have ownership of accounts & opportunities as well as support select opportunity cycles for opportunities at Tier 1 & Tier 2 accounts, partnering with the primary Account Executive.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Business Development
    • Evangelize Silverlines healthcare & life science expertise & managed services solutions within target accounts
    • Work with the Healthcare & Life Sciences go to market leadership, Silverlines business development team, & Sales & Marketing leaders to define & maintain a regular program of outbound campaigns
    • Focus on tactics & processes that increase lead conversion opportunity close rates
    • Research & build account intelligence (e.g. adding contacts, sending emails, & cold calling) for target accounts, dormant & current customers
    • Understand the competitive landscape & properly position Silverline's differentiators to win pursuits
  • New Account Acquisition
    • Manage all phases of the sales cycle, including business development, lead identification, qualification, scope construction, proposal development, client

presentations & contract negotiation for assigned opportunities & accounts

    • Learn & understand the business & technical requirements of clients in order to position the appropriate offering that drives business value & has a clear ROI
    • Work with Silverline Solution Sales Architects to provide prospects with compelling proposals ensuring clients specific needs are being addressed
    • Demonstrate an ability to work with customers to reach agreement & manage the negotiation process
  • Account Management
    • Manage a subset of the sales cycle including qualification, scope construction, proposal development, & deal orchestration working with the account owner
    • Conduct high-level conversations with VP, Director, & C-levels at targeted accounts creating interest in Silverline Client Services offerings
    • Establish & maintain relationships at all client levels, including C-suite
  • Track all activity, manage forecast & pipeline via marketing & sales automation tools such as Salesforce.com

Education & Required Experience (Requirements):

  • 3+ years of outbound sales/marketing experience
  • 3+ years of calling into Director, VP & C-level contacts
  • 3+ years of previous software sales & consulting sales experience (including prospecting)
  • Experience with the consultative sales approach in analyzing challenges of potential clients & conveying value to decision makers
  • Experience with sales of client services or staff augmentation in technology space
  • Self-motivated & eager to learn new services, technologies, & industries
  • Ability to use various sources of market & customer data to develop account intelligence, marketing strategies & harvest new contacts at Accounts
  • Demonstrate effective independent thinking
  • Ability to ask open-ended questions & listen attentively
  • Proven relationship building skills & account interaction experience
  • Strong communication & writing skills with proposal development experience a plus
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree (courses with a Marketing element are preferred but not essential)
  • Marketing & sales automation skills (e.g. Salesforce.com, Marketo, Data.com, ZoomInfo)
  • Social Media skills (Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, & Facebook)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced & team environment with changing priorities
  • Must be highly motivated, tenacious, & a self-starter
