Working on our Finance Operations team, the Supply Chain Analytics Manager will establish scalable processes to forecast Supply Chain spending, inventory needs, & report on KPIs for the team. S/he/they will work directly with our design, supply chain, project management, finance teams as well as regional markets helping Knotel to rapidly scale operations, improve performance, & effectively plan spending.

What Youll Do

  • Revamp the teams forecasting process/tools to more accurately predict bulk purchasing needs for the company
  • Create customized forecasts for material vendors, to achieve improved pricing & delivery time/stocking capabilities
  • Work with Director of Supply Chain to develop departments key metrics, report on them, & advice on how to improve operations
  • Mentor Purchasing Associates in achievement of department goals & personal growth
  • Partner with Supply Chain team on ad hoc projects (ie- Analysis on warehousing opportunities & new install vendors)

Who You Are

You are analytical, a natural problem-solver with a bias towards action & exceptionally high standards for organizing your work. You possess a high-level of ownership, accountability, & initiative. You pick up new tools quickly, like to make processes efficient, & have an exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated experience in working with a team in a fast-paced environment, coordinating logistics, and/or balancing multiple projects & timelines. You also have the following:

  • 6+ years, or equivalent experience, in analytics function.
  • Experience building forecasts & establishing metrics
  • Strong verbal & written communication required to liaise with multiple departments
  • Solid foundation of business intelligence & best financial practices
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Experienced with data science concepts, statistics, SQL, or macros a plus

Working on our Finance team, the Purchasing Manager will establish scalable processes to run an effective purchasing team for our construction project sites. S/he/they will work cross-departmentally with our design, supply chain, project management, customer experience, & logistics teams while leading Knotel towards achieving the company objective to rapidly scale operations & the department goal to improve the purchasing process.

What Youll Do

  • Develop innovative purchasing strategy & create processes for New York project rollouts as well as playbooks for international purchasing
  • Collaborate with design & project management teams by managing purchasing & logistics for site-specific projects
  • Manage a team of purchasing associates to ensure the accurate & timely placement of purchases that align with our vendor payment terms & manage purchasing process from placement to delivery
  • Liaise between sourcing & project management to define bulk quantity needs Maintain record of Purchase Orders & serve as point-person on product availability, open order shipping timelines & any issues with shipments
  • Think critically & analytically to leverage our data to support scalable & efficient processes within the supply chain function

Who You Are

  • 5+ years, or equivalent experience, in purchasing and/or logistics function. Bonus points for experience in commercial real estate!
  • Experience contacting vendors, placing purchase orders, and/or reviewing vendor contracts
  • Experience working directly with accounts payable
  • Strong verbal & written communication required to liaise with multiple departments & vendors
  • Solid foundation of business intelligence & financial best practices
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize effectively
