Working within Appians Strategic Alliances Team, the Partner Marketing Manager will be an experienced marketer responsible for supporting our partner management team & our strategic, channel & technology partners. The preferred candidate will develop, plan & execute marketing plans & lead-generation programs to grow & accelerate sales pipeline & revenue for the channel. The role will work closely with the channel sales teams & field marketing teams to drive campaigns in order to expand the Appian brand through co-marketing initiatives. A proven track record of helping build joint go-to-market strategies & experience working alongside a fast-moving global partnership team is key.

This role is at Appian HQ in Reston, VA. Appian HQ will be moving to Tysons Corner, VA in summer 2019.

What Will You Do In This Role:

  • Help develop targeted campaign plans to assist in Partner Enablement & education that provides effective communications to Partner Executives

  • Grow our brand via focused partner communications to elevate Appian as a priority partner

  • Promote campaign launch efforts to partners including collateral, communication strategy, training tools & related activities

  • Plan & execute joint marketing programs with key partners

  • Develop & manage marketing assets needed to support partner programs on various channels including collateral, playbooks & video assets

  • Advocate effectively for partners, & their needs, throughout Appian

About You:

  • 3-5 years experience in a Campaign Management and/or Partner/Alliances Role in an Enterprise Software environment

  • Superior writing skills (writing samples required)

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Experience in crafting results-driven marketing programs

  • Critical thinking, problem solving skills

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Strong verbal, written communication & presentation skills

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, results-oriented environment

  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15%
