The Team
We are looking for an empathetic engineer to join our Developer Experience Team, which will provide all our engineers with a great onboarding experience, make developer tools delightful to use, & work to understand & support our growing organization.
Our systems are built as a collection of containerized microservices, deployed in the cloud, managed using infrastructure as code, & updated through a modern continuous deployment pipeline. You will be supporting Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Typescript, Java & Python developers at Wealthsimple. We are working with existing teams to distill best practices, build an excellent experience for new hires & teams, & let everyone ship new features to over 1 million clients in their first month while keeping it simple.
We need engineers who thrive in the fast feedback loop of improving every system around them, listening to the pain points of other developers, & eliminating unneeded complexity. Our platform team is very experienced, & you'll be able to have support & support others with making our tooling & practices scale as we double the size of the organization!
