What is the key purpose of an Advertising Sales Manager?

As an Advertising Sales Manager working on the East Coast Advertising Sales team in NYC you will focus on top-tier brands & agencies to bring on new business.   What's exciting about this opportunity?  Taboola has technology with a team of 500+ engineers, exclusive direct access to premium publisher supply, full sales support; & uncapped commissions.

What skills & qualifications do I need?

  • 5+ years sales experience with a minimum of 3 years proven success in the digital space (Brand Advertising, Advertising Sales, Customer Acquisition & Growth, Consulting, Mobile, & Online sales)
  • Experience meeting goals, driving new business, & navigating organizational hierarchies
  • Experience working with marketing decision makers in companies & agencies
  • Performance marketing or brand advertising experience
  • Understanding of business intelligence to monitor & identify trends & use that data to help your clients make the best decisions regarding their marketing goals

What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?

As a fast-moving technology company, no 2 days will ever be the same at Taboola. As an Advertising Sales Manager, you will: 

  • Build a robust pipeline of leads to increase RFPs & IOs, as well as forecast new business closure rate & revenue booked
  • Create relationships with brand & performance-focused agency contacts & explain the power of Taboolas native, choice-based advertising platform.
  • Promote successful advertising strategies, both creative & technical
  • Return client/market-driven insights to product & other teams at Taboola
  • Partner with the Account Management team to manage client expectations, ensure successful campaign delivery & help set the expectation for future potential growth. 
  • Master ability to balance time invested toward low- & high-spend potential accounts
