JOB DETAILS
 

Contentive is looking for a Marketing Executive to sit within its Audience Acquisition & Engagement team. The role will be responsible for increasing the number of readers for our digital publications as well as improving the engagement of our existing readers.

Our digital publications cover HR, Finance & Digital marketing & therefore, the focus will be on engaging with senior director+ level leaders from these departments.

The role will work closely with the wider marketing team as well as our editorial & data science teams.

THE ROLE

Member Acquisition

  • Understand our ideal target readerships for each media property.
  • Design & implement member acquisition & automated onboarding journeys.
  • Utilize multiple paid & organic channels across search, social, content, email, partnerships etc.

Member Engagement

  • Design & implement member engagement strategies to increase the number of monthly touchpoints a member has with our publications.
  • Utilize multiple paid & organic channels across search, social, content, email, partnerships etc.

Content

  • Work closely with the editorial team to commission & optimize content to drive acquisition & engagement
  • Amplify our content via email & social channels to acquire & engage with our target readership.

Data & Dashboarding

  • Work with our data team to accurately report on the volume, source & costs of acquiring & engaging with our readership.
  • Conduct regular data audits & cleaning exercises.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in a B2B marketing
  • Experience with Media/Publishing brands
  • Experience in subscriptions or member acquisition.
  • Knowledge of B2B digital/inbound marketing including web & content marketing, ability to leverage social media to seed demand, SEO/SEM, association marketing
  • Strong experience with amplifying & utilizing content across social channels
  • Excellent data & analytical skills
  • Experience with Email, Content, Search (Paid & Organic), Display, Social.
  • Excellent copywriting skills & proof-reading experience
  • Experience with marketing automation (ideally Marketo) & CRM (ideally Salesforce).
