Warby Parker is on the lookout for a driven Senior Manager of Retail Operations to oversee the execution of all projects impacting our growing Retail fleet. In this role, youll uphold operational excellence through validating our processes, supporting special initiatives, escalating business opportunities, & ensuring continuity. As a key member of our Retail Operations team, youll strategize with the Director of Retail Operations & other leaders across the company to develop roadmaps that will make our store teams even more impactful & efficient. What youll do:

  • Maximize productivity & profitability by leading the execution of all key Retail & Vision Service projects 
  • Oversee our New Store Opening team; be the operations point person for Store Development & Design teams
  • Partner with our Store Systems team on planning & executing Retail & Vision Service technology projects 
  • Innovate & uphold on vendor management within Service Channel by overseeing our Retail Facilities arm of the team
  • Build a renovation & remodel program for our existing Retail footprint in partnership with the Finance, Strategy & Store Design teams
  • Maintain & develop evolving support areas related to store supplies & tickets
  • Collaborate with the Retail Strategy team to drive bookings & growth initiatives 
  • Review & analyze key metrics as they relate to Retail projects to determine effectiveness & scalability  
  • Lead a team of 12, including two direct reports; build team camaraderie, & prioritize individual development needs
  • Be on-call evenings & weekends as needed based on the department schedule, special project rollouts, etc. 

Who you are:

  • Backed by 6+ years of experience managing retail operations  
  • A team player who communicates welle.g., clearly, kindly, oftenwithin our department & across the company
  • An organizational powerhouse (your calendars & spreadsheets are color-coded masterpieces)
  • Equipped with sharp-as-a-tack technical & management skills
  • A self-motivated manager whos able to lead, grow, & sustain a highly engaged team
  • Able to prioritize tasks & juggle responsibilities simultaneously
  • A G Suite pro

Extra credit:

  • Prior retail experience in the field & corporate office
