Job Description

CipherHealth is looking for a Renewals Manager with 5+ years of experience in a SaaS environment to help own, coordinate, & execute on client renewals within a cross-functional team environment.  This individual will have experience reviewing legal agreements (e.g., MSAs, Contracts, Statement of Work, etc.) & have the ability to effectively communicate critical details pertaining to such agreements to leadership & executive teams.

Overall Job Summary

As a Renewals Manager you will be responsible for reviewing contract details across our customer base, & at times, drafting amendments, addendums, change requests, & other items needed to support the execution of renewal agreements according to our renewals management process. Your focus will be working closely with internal teams to ensure our customers are under contract & meeting the necessary milestones & goals essential to the success of the customer & their existing contract. As part of this effort, you will be responsible for making sure CipherHealth is positioned to maintain a high level of customer retention through timely account reviews, QBRs, & other activities needed to make sure we renew customer contracts. You will also work alongside our Customer Success & Sales teams to help identify opportunities where we can expand business within our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Work cross functionally with the Senior & Executive leadership teams to manage & evolve the renewals process
  • Keep renewal records up to date as well as management & oversight of our renewals forecast
  • Develop & execute renewal selling strategies
  • Support the continued evolution of a Renewals playbook
  • Ability to own, manage, & execute renewals including cross functional work with Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, & Finance teams
  • Ability to manage cross functional teams & drive outcomes
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers on account planning & aligning quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to the customer journey with new opportunities to grow the relationship
  • Support Customer Success team in identifying, managing, & mitigating account risk in support of renewing accounts
  • Help create & execute on plans to ensure accounts are referenceable
  • Properly qualify expansion opportunities


  • Deep understanding & experience reviewing, editing, drafting, & executing MSAs, contracts, amendments, addendums, and/or change orders
  • Experience managing account records in a SaaS environment
  • Highly energized team player
  • Experience & comfort in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization
  • Proficient in
  • Excellent verbal & written skills
  • Bachelors Degree

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Intermediate experience working
  • Ability to cultivate positive cross functional working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof-reading skills & speaking
  • Ability to manage multiple projects & work assignments concurrently

  • Ability to accomplish job requirements with limited supervision
  • Travel less than 5%
