THE ROLE: Retention Marketing Manager - NYC, Boston, Irvine CA or Remote in US

Were looking for

a Retention Marketing Manager who will own the overall strategy, day to day operation & deliverables of the email, SMS & push marketing channels. You will be responsible for SPOs message communication marketing performance. By closely working with multi cross-functional teams & departments to develop & implement overall content & email marketing strategy, you will drive subscriber growth as well as develop segmentation strategies & execution plans per channel. 

What Youll Do:

  • Develop & implement content marketing strategy with focus on email channel
  • Directly manage email & SMS campaigns & communicate company brands through email marketing
  • Work closely with brand acquisition, merchandising & other marketing teams to identify our target campaign audience & grow the subscriber list for both email & SMS channels
  • Carry out segmentation of the database & implement remarketing strategies
  • Plan & conduct A/B testing on email & SMS channels to identify the best practice among target audience
  • Plan, execute & manage all email & text campaigns & constantly look for optimizing channel performance
  • Work with leadership to determine goals & create strategies for content to align objectives
  • Plan, manage & report the forecast of message volume & message cadence, including monthly/weekly/daily forecasting
  • Analyze current email & SMS marketing campaigns & make recommendations for improvement
  • Work closely with creative team & coordinate all campaign designs for appropriate content channels

  • 4+ years experience in Marketing focusing on email & SMS within an ecommerce or retail environment (fashion a plus!)
  • Experience with ESP (Klaviyo a plus)
  • Demonstrated project management experience & ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of online retail consumer behavior
  • Ability to handle change, learn & keep abreast of new technology
  • Very collaborative, putting the shared team goals first

Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000

Rue Gilt Groupe is committed to providing Associates with equal pay for equal work & carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including prior experience, skills & expertise, location, & internal equity. Our goal is to support, reward & compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, equity, 401(k) match, & a variety of benefits. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
