Global Technical Account Manager (GTAM) - GSI
LOCATION: New York, NY or San Francisco Bay Area
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic insights to GSIs (Global System Integrators), engaging & interacting with their enterprise architects, technology advocates, solutions design, & practice teams across the designated GSIs. in this capacity, the GTAM will provide GSIs with industry-specific technology strategies, market analysis, briefings on leveraging disruptive technologies, & best practices in Enterprise Architecture & Digital Transformation practices.
The role requires an individual to possess industry-leading subject matter expertise in their technical field, while also providing a high level of consultancy skills, building a GSIs confidence in Cohesity solutions & technology. The GTAM has a recognized authority on leading digital technologies, theories, or techniques & provides innovative solutions to complex & critical business challenges.
Strong focus on understanding the GSIs Business, their current strategies to drive business growth.
Serve as the primary technical advocate to Cohesity on behalf of the GSI technical organization.
Responsible for driving technology discussions, solution design, solution documentation, technical proposal creation, technical marketing collateral development, services alignment, & service delivery oversight.
Collaborate with Cohesity teams in the development & production of responses to RFIs/RFPs/EOI, build business cases to justify investments, technology enhancements, & accelerate technology roadmaps & product integration activities.
Actively participate in all GSI Meetings, business reviews, & development activities to drive business growth & success.
Develop an enterprise view of the GSIs organization, technology offerings, digital solutions & industry offerings.
Evangelize, Enable & Empower the GSIs on Cohesity Technology, Solutions, tools, & processes to raise the awareness of Cohesity capabilities with GSIs.
Conduct technology workshops for GSIs solution architects, practice teams & determine solution integration & codesign technology solutions & development plans.
Build consensus with a dispersed & diverse technical leadership, enterprise architects, & solution design teams.
Recognize & influence key decision-makers & be the point of contact for technical information, conducting Proof of Value with GSI teams & customer technical stakeholders.
Collaborate, design, & build Centre of Excellence lab with GSIs & ensure a successful showcase of Cohesity technologies, use cases, & jointly developed digital solutions.
Identify technology & market trends, codesign technology solutions with GSIs & ecosystem partners to capitalize on these market opportunities.
Discover new relationships with GSIs practices teams, CTO office, Vertical business units, research, & development teams to drive awareness & innovation with the Cohesity solutions portfolio.
Stay current on emerging digital technologies, industry solutions, understand the ecosystem & competitive solutions & development roadmaps, & understand their impact to the GSIs.
Facilitate & build relationships with GSI technical teams & Cohesity Technical teams, field account teams to support & drive new business opportunities & success.
Collaborates with the GAM (Global Account Manager) as a key stakeholder in the execution of the business strategy & sales strategy by taking ownership of all technical responsibilities during the business /sales process.
15+ years of relevant work experience, preferably at a Global System Integrator, B2B Software or SaaS company.
5+ years in Technical Account Management is strongly preferred.
Experience with Digital, Data Management, Storage Networking, Hyper Converged, Information Security & Compliance technologies.
Proven experience in building enterprise class technology solutions for customers & GSIs
Strong understanding of GSI business, Operating Model & Go-To-Market Strategies
Strong communication skills & ability to work with cross functional teams & CXO leadership teams.
Proven expertise in creating Technical Account Plans & executive briefings to Leadership teams with Customers & GSIs.
Proven expertise of co-designing technology solutions with Customers & GSIs.
Entrepreneurial mindset & proven track record of driving revenues of & scaling business with GSI
Strong Documentation skills Conceptualizing, documenting & implementing reference architectures.
Industry Certifications in ITIL , TOGAF, Storage Networking, Cloud technologies, Hyperconverged Solutions, Data Protection, Data Management Solutions, Information security Solutions.
