GRAIL is seeking a Scientist I in the Process Development team at our Menlo Park R&D headquarters to support the Product Development of the Multi-Cancer Early Detection assay as a laboratory-developed test (LDT) & In Vitro Diagnostic Device (IVD). You will develop assay processes to build the laboratory workflow on a high throughput platform using automated workcells & support continuous improvement of the Galleri multi-cancer early detection test. Responsibilities include reagent integration on an automated platform, in-process sample stability, assay guardbanding, development of workflows, & troubleshooting complex problems. The ideal candidate is a curious thinker & passionate problem-solver that possesses experience with automated NGS assays.
