The Director of Inside Sales for the Americas Mid-Market & Small Business Sales will be responsible for building & continuing the growth of this division for MobileIron. Given MobileIrons successful Land & Expand model, this leadership role requires a professional who can drive a balance of both high volume, high velocity transactional new logo deals & more strategic wins at larger potential customers in this segment. The Director of Inside Sales will be an excellent leader with strong business acumen, a sound technical background in Sales leadership, be a true change agent, & an active, contributing member to the MobileIron Sales leadership team. This is an opportunity to play a critical leadership role in managing a team that will be crucial to MobileIrons continued growth.

The right candidate has Sales in their DNA: entrepreneurial, tenacious, comes to compete & win, & loves the hunt. You have demonstrated experience of over-quota achievement in an enterprise software sales environment & have a proven track record of managing individual contributor sales people towards organizational & quota success. You work well with marketing, channel & customer support teams to develop & drive key sales campaigns & programs to expand the business. In addition, you have an eye for metrics & analytics to understand & drive the business.


What youll be doing

Drive & monitor account planning & execution to deliver maximum revenue potential

Define new models & processes to grow a cloud business

Grow & maintain effective business relationships with internal business groups to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Sales team.

Work with marketing, channel & product marketing to develop & execute sales campaigns.

Proven track record of visionary-type strategic planning. Develop & implement new strategies that will facilitate the scale & growth the Inside Sales.

Deliver on all sales targets, product targets, new customer metrics & customer satisfaction goals.

High Performer: A demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture which places a premium on consistently performing at the highest level in an extremely fast paced, dynamic & high growth environment. Preferred that this leader has been in small & large environments, possessing build from the ground up capability in addition to having scaled an operation in a high growth, but larger environment.

Best Practices: Deep knowledge of Inside Sales toolset (Insidesales.com, Salesforce.com, marketing automation, demand generation, etc.). Experience with building outbound prospecting teams with Lead Development & phone-based Sales reps. A metrics & dashboard/data driven leader.

Inspirational: A passionate executive & skilled communicator who can articulate the MobileIron & Commercial Divisions vision in a clear & compelling way that immediately generates excitement, enthusiasm & a commitment to the vision in subordinates, peers & external partners.

Demonstrated success leading an Inside Sales organization. Develop & implement strategies around team expansion & accelerated productivity amongst newly hired sales individuals

A disciplined metrics-driven executive with evidence of leveraging systems & a formulaic approach achieve success & meet revenue objectives.

Must possess high ethics, integrity, humility & desire to work as a team player in a world-class sales & support organization

Proactive, confident, assertive & entrepreneurial. Should be a Self-starter.

Excellent people management skills with an ability to prioritize & delegate.

Strong analytical skills to understand & manage a complex business environment

What youve done

BA/BS Degree

5-10 years of enterprise software sales experience

5+ years of enterprise software sales management of an inside sales team

Experience with mobility, security and/or SaaS preferred

Experience in a hyper-competitive, high volume, space.
