Project Manager Leadership Operations

Overview of Role

The Strategic Program & Project Execution (SPPE) team is looking to hire an organized, highly motivated Project Manager to support efforts across with organization with a focus in leadership operations. This Guru will spend at least 50% of their time supporting engagement programs, responsible for coordinating & ensuring the execution & delivery of initiatives within these programs. The Leadership Ops project manager will work with cross-functional leaders to drive the strategy of our leadership operations initiatives, own logistics of event planning, & drive the overarching planning, scheduling, & content creation to meet the goals of the initiative. Beyond leadership operations, this individual will be responsible for high impact, high visibility projects that are cross functional in nature. They will coordinate the work of the project team, create & maintain schedules for required results within projects, track project dependencies, maintain & present status of the projects, track, & address risks/issues, among other duties. This position is highly cross-functional in nature & will involve significant senior-level partner management. It requires the ability to productively connect with executive management to drive strategy according to project & event timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project/event sponsor & cross-functional leadership, to plan & develop scope, desired outcomes, required resources, project plan, budget, & timing for events & activities within the Leadership Operations initiative.
  • Lead & encourage cross functional teams to achieve successful execution of content, leading & communicating the vision, purpose, & guiding principles as determined by the ET.
  • Provide regular updates to project teams, leadership, & executive team on status, risks, & accomplishments.
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams & external vendors.
  • Work cross-functionally to supervise & lead dependencies & activities to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure partner engagement & approval by establishing clear project-specific approval process, decision tracking, & cadenced updates.
  • Partner with team members on organizational change & adoption of improved processes, conducting post-mortems at beneficial stages of delivery.
  • Own scheduling project meetings, including coordinating with external vendors as appropriate.
  • Conduct event driven research as appropriate to ensure activities are aligned with specified goals.
  • Create content & provide overviews to content creators to ensure outcomes meet the needs & expectations of project delivery

Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience required:

  • Proven experience leading small to medium projects in a project management function.
  • Experience in implementing enterprise-wide initiatives. Able to define project plans, coordinate assets, run all project activities, & develop processes associated with event coordination.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, & organizational skills.
  • Experience in building content for mid to senior level team members.
  • Experience monitoring & leading vendor performance.
  • Relentlessly focused on incremental delivery.
  • Comfortable exercising judgement & using analytical skills in ambiguous situations.
