We are looking for a Strategy & Business Operations Manager to help scale our fast-growing Digital Wholesale business! Digital Wholesale is a relatively new, transformative pillar of CarGurus since the acquisition of CarOffer in early 2021, Digital Wholesale has been a primary growth driver for CarGurus & has tremendous runway to continue.

Digital Wholesale includes:

• C2D Consumer to Dealer: Helping consumers get competitive, instant offers on their vehicles with pickup right from their doorstep
• D2D Dealer to Dealer: Scaling the CarOffer wholesale platform, which enables dealers to buy & sell used car inventory

As the Strategy & BizOps Manager, you will work on critical strategic projects to enable the Digital Wholesale business to reach our ambitious growth aspirations. This role is a blend of true business strategy & roll-up-your-sleeves work to bring that strategy to life. This is a collaborative role, working closely with partners from Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Business Development, & Finance to help guide key strategic decisions & implement business initiatives. A successful candidate will have broad-based business acumen, strong analytical skills, & an ability to work cross-functionally to drive business results.

What Youll Do:

• Work with functional leaders to set the strategic direction for Digital Wholesale & then bring it to life on the execution side
• Conduct data-driven analysis, extracting key insights & communicating findings in a compelling way to drive critical business decisions
• Analyze business fundamentals & work cross-functionally to implement high-impact projects & ensure the business meets its critical metrics
• Establish organizational processes that create leverage for our teams as we scale the business

Who You Are:

• 4-5 years of relevant professional experience; corporate strategy, management consulting, strategic finance, or banking experience a plus
• Bachelors degree; MBA a plus
• Strategic mindset, able to take the 10,000 foot view of a business
• You enjoy wearing many hats, thinking holistically from multiple functional perspectives
• You love digging into the data, translating quantitative & qualitative inputs into actionable recommendations using your business judgment; P&L understanding a plus
• You have on-the-ground know-how to get things done in a cross-functional organization
• Strong communication skills both in formal presentations & informal settings to influence teams
• Self-motivated, well-organized, & meticulous
• Adept at using Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
